This has got to be number one on the top video games of the year list. The whole idea of playing guitar that is actually a video game wants you to just rock your heart out. If you haven’t played this game you should check up with your local best buy and play it there. My Rating: 9.6

2. Madden 08

Who doesn’t like football? This game is packed with activities not only playing the football game but the mini camp, mini games, roster manegment, and the skills drills. Remember, be with the bears if u live in Chicago. My Rating: 9.4

3. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

If you haven’t played the earlier versions of Call of Duty they were amazing with their graphics and the feeling that you are actually in the war. This version has a complete new and updated weapons collection, the game covers a lot of ground and the graphics are getting better and better. By the way it takes place in WW2. My Rating: 8.9

4. Halo 3

Halo 3 is a very good game if you like shooting and scientific monsters and fake crap. The graphics have improved in each of the games of the series. But the bad part is that Halo 3 is very short and pretty easy. But try to beat it on all the difficulties. That will take you a while. Me, I’m not really a fan of Halo but it is sometimes fun to relax and chill with your friends in multiplayer. My Rating: 8.4

5. Zelda: The Twilight Princess

This is an awesome game! The graphics couldn’t be better and the story is pretty long and challenging. Plus there are a lot of activities and a lot of items to collect. I am a big fan of Zelda because i like the whole point of the story and the games are so fun and challenging. The items in Twilight are just amazing and the way you use them is so fun and exciting. My Rating: 8.4

6. Super Smash Bros. Melee

This is one of the greatest party games of your life time. It tops Mario party and the other games that allow four players. This game has a lot of different melee modes including giant, tiny and super-sudden death melee. Also try the event mode. There are 50 event battles in total and i bet u cant beat the 50th one. If your heading to a party make sure you bring SSBM and your handy mandy G-cube. My Rating: 8.3

7. Pokemon Series

The Pokemon series are a classic. They include Red,Blue,Yellow,Silver,Gold,Crystal,Ruby,Sapphire,Emerald,Pearl,and Diamond. The most successful one is Pokemon Emerald. It is way better than ruby because it has tons more Pokemon and a whole new battle tower. Diamond and Pearl are the newest ones so far. They include Pokemon from the 4th generation. I was a big fan of Pokemon and had at least 20 Pokemon on level 100 and tons of Legendary’s like Deoxys and Lugia.

8. Nintendogs

Awwwwwwwww such cute puppies. Yea there that cute. This game brings you to a world full of dogs. The Ds’s touch screen allows you to pet the dogs and teach them tricks. You can also walk them and play with them using hundreds of items. If you are a dog lover this is the game for you. My Rating: 7.9

9. Rock Band

This game is really similar to Guitar Hero except that the controls are harder and you could also use the percussion. Rock band really teaches you to play the guitar or the percussion, so if you want to become a hard core rocker this game is the game for you. My Rating: 7.5

10. Wii Sports

First of all this game is great because its on the Wii. It is great because it has many activities like creating your mii and playing and making sure the mii’s fitness level is high. There are five sports to play: bowling, tennis, boxing, golf, and baseball. When you buy the Wii, the game automatically comes with the system so enjoy. My Rating: 7.5
